Overview

This desert tour from Agadir takes you far from the beach resorts into the quiet Anti-Atlas mountains. You see the pink granite and painted rocks of Tafraoute, the saffron fields of Taliouine, the carpets of Tazenakht and the palm groves of the Draa. Then you ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes and return through the Todra and Dades gorges.

The route also crosses the fossil area of Alnif, so it is a good choice if you like rocks and geology. See our full fossil and geology tour or all tours from Agadir.
