Morocco Essentials: 8-Day Private Tour from Casablanca
Eight days across Morocco: the coast, the blue city, old Fez, a night in the Sahara dunes and the red city of Marrakech.
A private honeymoon: rooftop riad in Marrakech, couples hammam, kasbah nights and two nights in a luxury desert camp with dinner on the dunes.
A Morocco honeymoon is full of romantic moments: mint tea on a rooftop, a warm hammam for two, and a candle-lit dinner alone on the sand dunes. This 7-day trip is only for the two of you, with a private driver and a slow pace. You sleep in a riad in Marrakech, a boutique kasbah, two nights in a luxury desert camp and a kasbah hotel with a pool.
The luxury camp tent has its own bathroom, and the private dinner in the dunes is included. If you want more comfort in every city, see our luxury Morocco tour, or browse all our desert trips.
Day 1
Your driver meets you at Marrakech airport and takes you to a beautiful riad in the medina. You receive a welcome mint tea in the quiet courtyard. Take time to rest in your room. In the evening, go up to the rooftop to watch the sunset over the city. We can book a candle-lit dinner in a romantic restaurant for your first night (optional). Night in Marrakech.
Overnight: Marrakech
Day 2
In the morning you visit the Majorelle Garden, with its strong blue walls and exotic plants, and the Secret Garden in the medina, a calm space with fountains. In the afternoon you relax with a couples hammam: steam, black soap and a gentle scrub, followed by a massage if you wish. Finish the day with drinks or juice on a rooftop terrace at sunset. Second night in your riad.
Overnight: Marrakech
Day 3
Your driver picks you up after breakfast. You cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass, stopping for photos above the valleys. Then you walk hand in hand through Aït Ben Haddou, the UNESCO earth village with lovely views from the top. After lunch you continue past Ouarzazate to the Dades Valley. Tonight you sleep in a boutique kasbah with views of the red mountains, with dinner included.
Overnight: Dades Valley
Day 4
After a short walk in the Todra Gorges, you drive to Merzouga. In the late afternoon you ride camels together into the golden dunes as the sun goes down. Your luxury camp has a private tent with a real bed and bathroom. Tonight, our team prepares a private candle-lit dinner on the dunes, only for you two, with lanterns and a carpet on the sand. Then enjoy the silence and the stars.
Overnight: Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
Day 5
Wake up to watch the sunrise from the top of a dune. The day is free and slow. You can try sandboarding or a quad ride (optional), or just rest in the shade of the camp. In the afternoon you can visit Khamlia village to listen to Gnawa music. At night our team can show you the stars and planets; the desert sky is very clear. Second night in your luxury camp.
Overnight: Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
Day 6
Today you take a quiet road through the desert south. You pass Alnif, an area known for fossils, and N'Kob, a village with many old kasbahs and palm trees. The landscape is wide and empty, good for photos. In the late afternoon you arrive in Ouarzazate and check in to a kasbah hotel with a pool. Relax and enjoy a calm dinner together.
Overnight: Ouarzazate
Day 7
After a slow breakfast you drive back over the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass. You can stop at a women's argan cooperative to buy natural oil and cosmetics. You arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your driver takes you to your hotel or the airport. This is the end of your honeymoon tour, but we can add nights in Marrakech or Essaouira by the sea.
