Quad biking Merzouga is one of the most exciting things to do in the Sahara. With a local guide from our home village of Khamlia, you ride around the high golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, cross flat desert plains and stop for photos on top of a dune. When is the best time for quad biking in Merzouga?

In the late afternoon, about two hours before sunset, the light is soft and the sand is cooler. In summer, early morning is also good.

Can I ride a quad and also do the camel ride?

Yes. Many guests ride the quad first, then go to the camp by camel at sunset. We plan the timing for you.

Is quad biking in the dunes difficult?

The guide chooses routes for your level. Beginners stay on firm sand and small dunes. More experienced riders can go further.
