Our Morocco motorcycle tour is a 7 to 10-day ride on big trail bikes (BMW GS, Yamaha Ténéré 700 or similar, depending on availability). A riding guide leads the group and a support vehicle carries your luggage, water and spare parts. You cross the High Atlas passes, ride along the Dades and Todra gorges, reach the dunes of Merzouga and return through the Draa valley. The route follows the same roads as our 7-day desert and south Morocco tour, and can be extended like the 10-day Morocco tour from Casablanca or shortened like the private luxury desert tour.

Rent a bike

We arrange a big trail bike (BMW GS, Yamaha Ténéré 700 or similar) and, on request, riding gear. The model is confirmed when booking.

Bring your own bike

Ride your own motorcycle, for example from Europe by ferry. We give you the guide, the support vehicle, the route and the hotels.

Requirements

  • Valid motorcycle licence for the bike category
  • Real road experience on big bikes
  • Off-road experience if you want to ride the pistes
  • Full protective gear: helmet, jacket, trousers, gloves and boots (rental gear on request)
  • Good physical condition for 4–6 hours of riding a day

Safety

  • Daily briefing on the route, road conditions and weather
  • Riding guide in front and support vehicle behind the group
  • Guide and support vehicle carry a first-aid kit
  • Travel insurance that covers motorcycling is required
  • Regular stops for water, rest and sun protection
  • Licence and insurance rules change – check current rules before you travel

Yes. A passenger can travel in the support vehicle and join the group at every stop and hotel.

March to May and September to November. Summer is very hot in the desert, and in winter the Atlas passes can have snow.
