Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1

   Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech, luxury riad and rooftop view

   Your private driver meets you at Marrakech airport and takes you to your luxury riad in the medina, a quiet house with a garden courtyard. You receive a welcome mint tea and time to rest after your flight. In the early evening, go up to the rooftop terrace. From here you see the minaret of the Koutoubia, the roofs of the old city and, on clear days, the snow of the High Atlas. The sounds of Jemaa el-Fna rise as the sun goes down. Night in Marrakech.

   Day 2

   Day 2: Marrakech with a private guide, hammam and spa

   After breakfast your private licensed guide meets you at the riad. You walk through the medina and the souks, where artisans make lamps, leather and carpets. You visit the painted ceilings and gardens of the Bahia Palace, then the bright blue walls and cactus plants of the Majorelle Garden. In the afternoon you relax in a traditional hammam and spa, with steam, black soap, a gentle scrub and a massage. The evening is free. Second night in Marrakech.

   Day 3

   Day 3: Marrakech – argan cooperative – Essaouira

   Your private driver takes you west to the Atlantic coast, a drive of about 3 hours on a good road. On the way you see argan trees, sometimes with goats climbing in the branches. You stop at a women's argan cooperative, where you learn how the oil is made by hand for food and cosmetics. In the early afternoon you arrive in Essaouira and check in to a luxury riad or boutique hotel close to the ocean. The rest of the day is free. Night in Essaouira.

   Day 4

   Day 4: Essaouira fish market, cooking class and ramparts

   In the morning you walk with a chef to the fish market and the spice shops, to choose fresh fish, vegetables and herbs. Then you cook together in a private kitchen, learning a tajine and Moroccan salads, and you eat what you prepare. In the afternoon you walk on the ramparts with their old cannons, visit the busy blue fishing port and relax on the wide beach, where the wind is good for kitesurfing. Second night in Essaouira.

   Day 5

   Day 5: Essaouira – Marrakech or Marrakech airport

   Enjoy a slow breakfast and a last walk in the white lanes of the medina of Essaouira, a UNESCO site. You can buy thuya wood boxes or argan products for your family. Then your private driver takes you back to Marrakech, to your hotel or directly to Marrakech airport, about 3 hours away. We plan the departure time according to your flight. If you want more time by the ocean, we can add extra nights in Essaouira.
