Morocco Tour from Argentina: Visa, Flights & Travel Tips

For travellers from Argentina, Morocco feels both exotic and familiar: long family meals, strong tea and wide open landscapes. A Morocco tour from Argentina often starts in Spain and continues south across the Strait of Gibraltar.

We are a local agency from Merzouga, and all our tours are private. Our Spain and Morocco tour is a popular choice, and the Tangier grand tour is ideal if you arrive in Morocco by ferry.

Visa

⚠ Pending verification: Pending verification – always confirm with the Moroccan embassy or consulate before booking flights.

Argentine passport holders have commonly been allowed to visit Morocco for tourism without a visa, generally for up to 90 days. Rules can change, so please confirm with the Moroccan embassy in Buenos Aires before you buy flights.

Your passport should be valid for at least six months after arrival.

Flights and connections

There are no direct flights from Argentina to Morocco. Common routes go through Madrid, Paris, Lisbon or Istanbul, and some connect through São Paulo. From Europe, short flights reach Marrakech (RAK), Casablanca (CMN), Fez (FEZ) and Tangier (TNG).

Money and payments

Morocco uses the dirham (MAD), a closed currency. Bring euros or US dollars in cash to exchange in Morocco, or use ATMs in the cities. Cards are accepted in most hotels.

Best time to travel

The best seasons are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). Remember that seasons are opposite to Argentina: your winter holidays in July are summer in Morocco, with strong heat in the Sahara.

If you travel in January or February, Morocco is in winter. Days are often sunny, but desert nights are cold and the Atlas Mountains may have snow.

Safety and health

Morocco is generally a safe destination. Take normal care in medinas, use licensed guides and drink bottled water. Travel insurance is mandatory for our tours.
