Singapore travellers often look for trips that are well organised, comfortable and full of new experiences. A Morocco tour from Singapore gives you all of this: busy markets, quiet riads, mountain roads and a night under the stars in the Sahara.

We are a local agency based in Merzouga. Every tour is private, with your own driver and vehicle, and every day can be adjusted. Muslim travellers may enjoy our halal Muslim-friendly tour, and couples often choose the honeymoon desert tour.

Visa

⚠ Pending verification: Pending verification – always confirm with the Moroccan embassy or consulate before booking flights.

Singapore passport holders have commonly been allowed to enter Morocco for tourism without a visa, usually for up to 90 days. Rules can change, so please check with the Moroccan embassy or consulate responsible for Singapore before booking your flights.

Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months after your arrival date.

Flights and connections

There is no direct flight from Singapore to Morocco. Popular connections go through Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Istanbul, or through European hubs such as Paris and Madrid. Total travel time is usually 17 to 24 hours.

You can arrive in Casablanca (CMN), Marrakech (RAK), Fez (FEZ) or Tangier (TNG). An open-jaw ticket, for example arriving in Casablanca and leaving from Marrakech, often saves time.

Money and payments

The Moroccan dirham (MAD) is a closed currency, so you will get it after you arrive. Bring US dollars or euros to exchange, or use ATMs in the cities. Cards are accepted in hotels and larger shops, but markets and villages need cash.

Best time to travel

March to May and September to November are ideal. The June and November–December school holidays are popular with Singapore families: June is hot in the desert, and December has cold nights in the Sahara and snow in the Atlas Mountains, so pack a warm jacket.

Lunar New Year can also be a good time for a short trip, but winter nights are cold, so we recommend a comfortable camp with heating or extra blankets.

Safety and health

Morocco is generally a safe country for tourists. Use normal precautions in crowded areas, agree on prices before you buy in the souks, and use the licensed guides we arrange. Drink bottled water and carry travel insurance, which is required for all our tours.
