Colombian travellers love colour, music and friendly people, and Morocco has all three. A Morocco tour from Colombia takes you from the busy square of Jemaa el-Fna in Marrakech to the quiet dunes of Erg Chebbi, with mountain villages and old kasbahs on the way.
All our tours are private, with a Spanish-speaking driver on request. You can combine Spain and Morocco with our 13-day tour, or choose a shorter route such as the 4-day trip from Marrakech to Fez via the desert.
⚠ Pending verification: Pending verification – always confirm with the Moroccan embassy or consulate before booking flights.
Colombian citizens have generally needed a visa or an electronic visa (e-Visa) to enter Morocco. Please check the official Moroccan e-Visa portal or contact the Moroccan embassy or consulate well before your trip, as processing takes time.
Rules change often, so confirm everything before you buy your flights. If you travel through Spain or other European countries, also check their entry rules. Your passport should be valid for at least six months.
There are no direct flights from Colombia to Morocco. Most routes go through Madrid, with other options via Paris, Lisbon or Istanbul. From Madrid, short flights reach Marrakech (RAK), Casablanca (CMN), Fez (FEZ) and Tangier (TNG).
The local currency is the dirham (MAD), a closed currency available only in Morocco. Bring euros or US dollars to exchange, or use ATMs in the cities. Keep cash for markets and small purchases.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best seasons. Easter week and the mid-year holidays are popular with Colombian travellers: Easter is usually pleasant, while June and July are hot in the desert.
In December and January, days can be sunny but nights in the Sahara are cold. Bring warm layers.
Morocco is generally safe for visitors. Take normal care with your belongings in crowded areas, use licensed guides and drink bottled water. Travel insurance is mandatory for all our tours.
