Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best seasons. Golden Week (late April to early May) is an excellent time for Morocco, with pleasant weather in the desert. Book early, as many travellers choose this period.
The Obon holiday in August is very hot in the Sahara, so we plan early starts. During the New Year holidays, the desert nights are cold, and there can be snow on the Tizi n'Tichka pass.
Morocco is generally a safe country. In busy medinas, keep your bag closed and watch your phone. Licensed guides make city visits easier and calmer. Toilet stops are planned at clean cafés and restaurants on the road.
Drink bottled water and take travel insurance, which is required for all our tours.
